My cancer goal these days is to live long enough to received an immunological cancer treatment. Here is a link to an excellent special report from the NY Times about the hopeful field of cancer immunology for those who would like to know more.
We, David and Jana, were diagnosed with cancer within an 11 day period in 2010. What a surprise! Talking with Doctors at the End of Life
Here is an interesting article about the difficult communication between doctors, patients, and family at the end of life. I believe my oncologist and his nurse practitioner will be straightforward with when the time comes because they know me well enough to know that I want their prognosis and will not overreact.
